How to take care of our handmade pieces

Intimates

Due to the delicate nature of lingerie fabric, it must be treated with great care and attention to avoid damage when washing.

For the longevity, hand wash in cool water with a delicate soap or mild detergent. Avoid soaking in any kind of soap or water as it could cause the colours to fade or transfer. Do not tumble dry, bleach or wring out the garment after washing. As you can't dry our pieces in the dryer, they need to dry flat and in the shade.

Beachwear

To make your swimwear last for as long as possible, we recommend always washing it by hand in cool water using delicate soap or mild detergent. 

As too much direct sunlight can lighten the colour of your beachwear, we’d recommend drying your bikinis and swimsuits out of direct sunlight to keep them bright and colourful. Do not tumble dry, bleach or wring out after washing. 

Please bare in mind that heavily chlorinated pools can cause the colours to fade. Sun cream and tanning creams can damage and discolour swimwear, so use caution to limit exposure of these products.

Sleepwear

Due to the special quality of bamboo fabric, it should also be treated with care and attention to avoid damage when washing. We recommend turning the garment inside our or using a wash bag to prevent the garment from rubbing against harsh surfaces. Once washed and wet, bamboo fabric significantly hardens, making it seem like there's something wrong with it. Do not worry. This is just unique characteristic of bamboo fabric itself. Once dried it will be as soft and cosy as it was in the beginning when you bought it. Using bleach to deal with stains is not recommended. 

For drying, line drying in the best option. Machine drying is ok but don't over do it and make sure to use low heat! Over drying can result in damaged fabrics.

Fabric pilling can be prevented to some extent by following the above washing and care instructions.
