S23: Cottage Blooms
Another photoshoot another diary post. With our new collection Cottage Bloom we really wanted to capture the essence of countryside summer moments. Image of nostalgic summer days in the countryside that makes us “warm and fuzzy”, embracing the historic and romantic, especially now, with people enjoying summer holidays, meeting grandparents, going to summerhouses and with that happening we have the tendency to recall memories of childhood and family. For me, as a concept, living in countryside, embraces a simpler, sustainable existence that is more harmonious with nature.
Now, let me tell you about our models - Katariina and Merily. They brought life and charm to the shoot, making it an absolute joy to work with them. Katariina's professionalism and natural ease in front of the camera always shine through, and the outcome of her shots is always so versatile and stunning!
And then there's Merily, my best friend. Having her with us made the day even more special. Her vibe definitely matched the theme we wanted to bring to life.
Of course, we can't forget about the adorable star of the show - Merka's baby, Oliver (we also sometimes call him Ollu). We managed to capture some super cute photos with him, and they have become some of our favorites - how could they not!
The shoot took place in my mom's friends' home outside of Viljandi. They have a huge garden and lot's of different opportunities to capture different scenes that I talked about. It was the ideal backdrop for our collection. We explored the garden from every angle and we also got some really good shots in the greenhouse!
Oh, and let's not forget our first-ever dresses! They looked airy and fresh, blending seamlessly with the countryside theme.
It was a good day, filled with laughter, creativity, and the magic of nature. I'm excited to share this dreamy collection with all of you, hoping that it will transport some of you to a countryside summer escape, just like it did for us, even if it's just for the moment.
